Meaningful Shyvana buffs?

So first off, I feel like she is already in a pretty okay place right now, and I don't think she really needs a buff. That said does anyone else feel like the Shyvana buff was pointlessly lack luster? The entire patch intro was hyping up how the buff barge was shipping out, and then her whole intro was hyping up this new shyv buff, but when you read it, it was a measly .5% max hp on hit increase. For me that honestly didn't feel like a buff, it felt like the smallest possible change in order to carry on the "buff" theme. How much difference can a less than one percent change actually make? Meanwhile for the last few years I have seen thread after thread reaching well over 100+ votes asking why her ult can be interrupted, and to my knowledge this has never been addressed.

I guess the TLDR is that this buff almost feels insulting to me. As in, it actual hurt a bit to read. The tiniest possible change is not a buff, it's a convenient excuse to fit a theme. And the fact that it was played off on such a scale honestly hurts. It's like opening a giant box on your birthday to find nothing but packing peanuts and a five dollar starbucks card. I guess I was holding onto the hope that Riot had more respect for their player base than this.

I want to pop in here and say that I do agree that the "buff" will have virtually no impact on the effect Shyvana has on the game. That being said, I have to disagree with Shyvana being in a good spot right now. As a complete champion and concept, I agree that she is the entire package. What really makes it hard to play her these days is the ability to deny her any sticking power to her target. You are practically forced to get a Botrk or a Frozen Mallet to continually damage your target. Why would you create a champion that requires constant attachment to an enemy in order to do damage and not provide any tools in order to do so? Burnout used to be sufficient enough, but mobility has really gotten out of hand and CC easily stops her ultimate. Why play her? What are your chances of actually making a difference instead of being cc-locked into oblivion? What good is a heavy tank if you can't provide any meaningful peel for your team?

These are questions Riot should be asking when making changes to Shyv. I am pretty upset at her current state.
