Akali is weird champ. She is imo first of her kind with almost unattainable skillceiling. Majority of onetricks are having hardtime to maintain +50% winrate, yet proplayers and top elo players are beasting and 1v9 in almost everygame. The question is, are too hard champs good for game?
I don't know what the solution is, Riot will have to make her cannon minion to stop these mechanical gods from stomping challanger and proplay games
They should really just revert her. She's a balancing nightmare, and isn't fun to play against while also being terrible for new players to her and godly for mains.
She's AP, not AD.
Although she's able to build hybrid due to her AD scalings, at base she's still an AP assassin.
AP champs that require skill (Azir, Ryze, Nidalee, Akali, Taliyah) are still hard to play, but AD champs that require skill (Zed, Riven, Vayne), well, those are much easier to play now than they should be. I know I didn't mention Yasuo, but those would feed regardless of how hard the champ would be to play.
Point is, AD is way too favored and the high skill cap AD champs need to have skill placed back in their kit.
Akali is incredibly unhealthy, her nerfs are completely warranted. She needs to get Poppy'd at this point, tbh
