Please fix Ryze.

Ryze's Q does not need to be a skill shot. He's already incredibly weak early game, one of the weakest auto attackers, and one of the slowest turret pushers in the game. Making his Q a skill shot seems unnecessary, and from what I can gather, the only reason they made it a skill shot is so he could use it to proc his new passive even when minions or enemy champions weren't around. His old kit worked well enough without being overwhelming. Anyone have thoughts on this?

You're thinking of this wrong. His numbers might be too weak. Maybe it needs to travel a bit faster, or have more damage. But the Q being a skillshot is fine. It makes sense with his root, anyway Targeted abilities are reliable to use but not fun to play against. If he's weak, they need to do number tweaking (such as increasing his damage/tankiness), not make it a targeted skill again.

I like the new skillshot for charging tear up, but aside from that, it is really weak, its ratios were nerfed into the ground as well as having its reliability removed. I like new ryze a lot, but i think hes undertuned.

Honestly, I don't like Ryze's new build at all. The concept was that you could get 5 stacks and be able to spam a shitton of skills very quickly with q-e-q-w-q. But its got two giant problems. First, the time period on your passive is too short. It could use another second to be useful. Right now, I think its one of the highest skill combo's to pull off 100% correctly in the game but the payoff is very little. Adding another second would let you spam a bit more and make up for his terrible scaling. But the other big problem is how its phrased. his passive takes time off his cooldowns according to the cooldown of Q. But it also gives 30% CDR! But that reduces the cooldown of Q in the firstplace, making it less effective as time goes on. Overall, the 30% CDR will let yoru abilites go off faster since they have a higher cooldown timer and will therefore have a greater impact by the 30%. However, I think they should switch it to a standard second count. 2 or 3 per ability would be best.

Summarized; Ryze sucks right now, but its not his skillshot thats the problem. I think just buffing his scaling is a poor idea too. He was released waaaay too early. H needs more testing.

I think it should have a longer range, and move faster. he should be able to poke with it, then go all-in with his full kit.

it should feel sorta like a mage's version of ezreal's Q. IMO

Are you kidding? he's incredibly strong right now as an AOE face melter. His ult can be spammed because it's CD will be reduced anyway from his passive.

Umm, are we talking about the same Ryze that lolking shows does lower than average champ damage output and has the lowest win rate in the game currently?

That's because his damage is conditional. He needs at least one other target near his main target to deal massive amounts of damage.

I have tried him in bot's but not in yoloQ yet. I find it better maxing his E first. It gives him more Wave clear, and more poke against champs (stuck in their own minion wave.) I find it more effective that leveling up the poke on his Q (which should be used mostly as a tool for stacking tear.)

You now, they didn't just turn it into a skillshot they also drastically increased the range.

While I certainly need some more practice to get the askillshot right, it makes my CS a whole lot saver, because I don't need to enter the range of enemy damage as often.
