@RiotRepertoire I think you did a good job on the Quinn Rework

I know there's a lot of people pissed off over the changes to Quinn. i can tell you I too was extremely skeptical and apprehensive that the incoming changes would destroy one of my favorite champs. Unleashing Murderbird on the enemy squishies was loads of fun and one of the reasons i fell in love with Quinn. However, after playing several games as her today, I've grown to like the new Quinn more than the old one. "But she has no ability to duel or counterplay other AA based champs now!" Well actually, before her dueling consisted of hopefully landing your q and then doing enough damage to kill the enemy before the blind wears off. God forbid you miss the q, then you can kiss your life goodbye. I feel that Quinn now has a little bit more counterplay with the ability to proc her Harrier and W passive 3 times in less than 10 seconds. With that movespeed boost, you can dance around an enemy and then execute with the new Q.

On to the ult...I actually like it a lot. I've had so much fun using baron buff+item 1304 to speed from my base to the enemy nexus in about 5 seconds. I can use the ult more than 5 times a game as opposed to the pre-rework Quinn. I no longer feel constricted with the use of my ult because of the high cooldown it used to have. Clearing a wave top, then moving mid, then moving to help in the jungle or something like that has been outrageously fun. Of course there's no more tower murdering or champ murdering as Valor, but the trade off is much much higher.

I urge fellow Quinn mains to take the rework with an open mind instead of raging like children. The reddit section on Quinn is filled with a bunch of people complaining that she lost her ability to duel and be useful. Blah Blah. Calm down and try to adjust to the change instead of fighting it. Honestly, you spent less than 10% of every game using her ult. Now, it's about as balanced between forms as Nidalee or Elise or Gnar. Sure, the previous 3 champs can attack in their forms, but none have the map presence of Valor.

TL;DR: I like the changes and I think RiotRepertoire did a great job. P.S. I've also played as Caitlyn and have seen Graves and Corki in action and I must say that i'm very impressed with their changes. The marks(wo)man update is great.

I disagree. The rework is terrible. She lost her old strengths, and still has all of her old weaknesses. Nothing in the update makes her anymore desirable as an ADC.

Her ultimate makes her look like a goofball and has lost all of it's versatility. It's mind boggling how bad it looks. It's now only a tool for repositioning on the map. It cannot be used to execute, flank or escape with anymore. Harrier has lost so much of it's damage that even procing it more often feels less satisfying. I would argue that you probably aren't, because I don't know who you are fighting where either you or the target lasts 10 seconds. There are strong Quinn items in the game already that improve her movement speed and stacked well enough. Furor boots and Black Cleaver, for example. Dancing around and being fast was not something that she was ever bad at.

She was too unsafe to take bottom lane, so they removed her blind and her early damage. With even more attractive ADC CDR items, removing the cooldown from her ultimate is irrelevant except for a small window in the mid game where death timers are short and you don't have the Rank 3 Ult/40% CDR combo built yet. She lost her dueling power and her ultimate cannot be used to escape so now she can't even be a niche top laner because of how long the lane is. Relying on Vault as your only escape isn't enough against a Fiora or any of the other high mobility top laners.

I don't understand your argument that old Quinn is more reliant on landing her Q than the new Quinn. Her execute damage is tied into that move now instead of her ultimate so I'd argue that it's even more important to land. I mean, what ADC are you fighting as new Quinn where you miss your Q and still win?

So you admit that her dueling potential is worse now. That's a start.

Using her ult 5 times in a game. At late game the cool down was extremely low, and really not a problem whatsoever. I'm not saying having instant cooldown on it isn't nice. Sure. But that is literally (objectively speaking, inarguably) the ONLY good thing about this ''re-work''. She already WAS a wonderful roamer. Sure it's nice making her better at it. But now she doesn't have the assassination ability, nor does she have the IAS from her ult, AND the damage got nerfed pretty hard, right?

"No more tower murdering, no more champ murdering" Yeah so you can go places and not be able to do as much as you used to. What good is going mid if you can't get the kill? What good is going top if you can't melt a tower and escape? (and her escape potential IS ALSO gutted)

"You spent 10% of the game using her ult" Now you can't use her ult in combat. How much of the game do YOU spend out of combat? I think I probably spend LESS THAN TEN PERCENT. Implying, pretty solidly mathematically, that the rework is a straight up nerf.

She ALREADY had HUGE map presence. That was her strength. I'm not saying more map presence isn't a good thing, but ... again, that's (literally & absolutely objectively) the ONLY good thing about the so-called rework. Everything else .... *** was bad *** .

Basically, they took a champ with HUGE weaknesses (short range, lack of combat presence), and one good strength (roaming ability & objective presence), and took away EVERYTHING that made her ALMOST as good as other adcs in teamfights (her maneuverability and assassination potential as valor, which WERE HUGE, really the ONLY thing making Quinn worthwhile to play!!), and made her stronger in something that she was already approaching being maxed out at already. Sure, there was room for her to be better at roaming. But now there is no more room. Roaming potential only does SO much. The difference in VALUE from that extra roaming potential is ... is it even worth comparing to what she lost? No. She can't do anything in combat now. Why bother to play her? Really... You can't kill dragon as fast now. AND YOU CAN'T ASSASSINATE PEOPLE NOW!! WHY BOTHER????

How is it balancing between forms? You just use your ult when out of combat. It might a well beMissFortune's passive with more move speed. Shoe horning a fighter/assassin adc into a split pusher was one of riots worst ideas yet.
