Walk to cast setting needed
I learned Annie in 2013. Her ult used to cast at max range even if my cursor was outside of her R range. At some point, Riot changed this. Current Annie's R will walk then cast if your cursor is outside of her ultimate's range. They did the same change with Malphite's ult. Current Malphite's ultimate will not cast if your cursor is even slightly out of his range. He will walk forward until he is in range to ult the cursor's location.
Currently, Jarvan's E will cast at max range even if your cursor is out of range. This is my preference, so why can't all abilities have a setting to behave like Jarvan's E if that's my preference?
I understand some of you feel I should just relearn how to play these champions, but it's really hard to change fundamentally how I interact with my cursor on such a micro level. And there is no advantage to the player by having either setting active.
Here is a list of abilities that I believe should be affected by this setting, as well as their current status. There are more abilities, and I was going through the champions alphabetically, but you get the point.
If you cast the listed ability, but your cursor is outside of the ability's range, then Walk then cast: Anivia R Annie R Brand W Caitlyn W Cassiopeia Q Cho'Gath Q Corki Q Gangplank E Gragas Q Gragas R Graves W Heimerdinger Q Heimerdinger E Heimerdinger R (Q) Ivern W Jhin E Jinx E
Cast at maximum range without walking forward: Aatrox Q Azir W Cassiopeia W Diana Q Fiddlesticks R Fizz E Fizz R Heimerdinger R (E) Jarvan IV E
Here is the spreadsheet I started. Got bored testing each champion, so not all abilities are there, but you get the point: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vTnjl9-_0gZUhM4_vsALyaf0vBioY-NdpZEzu7eC5C8JbBEt1mB67CE4dhMhhogEin7p4FVpvls80pR/pubhtml
