Champion Mastery Ranks

Riot, I know you don't want to give away the formula for how champion mastery ranks are calculated, but could we at least get a hint? When I have a match go like that (9/0/7 150cs 27:42), and only get an A, that's pretty disheartening. Is it my CS? Do I have to stop killing the enemy team and go farm just so I can get my Mastery 7 token? Do I have to draw the game out so I have time to get full build? If so, those are pretty awful requirements.

you only have 8 wards in a 27 min game, that could be part of the issue, i have noticed that whenever i buy item 1410 as my jungle items i tend to get a much higher rank than when i get item 1402 or item 1414

that is the best way to win why do you think LCS matchs dont have like 40 kills on one side its because they know farm is worth more than a kill. Think of it this way a kill is worth around 15 cs or so, in turn meaning that if the other adc just did not attack you and went for farm and did it right she could have over a 100 more cs than you that means she would have about 7 kills over you. Farm is everything in this game if you have more farm then the other laner you have a better shot of winning

Actually they have given you everything you need to know about how the ranks are figured.

You are graded on your overall performance of the champ you use in the role you are playing against others in your region using that same champ in that same role. There are a lot of factors that are included in determining your grade which include your kills, deaths, assists, towers taken, wards placed, wards destroyed, dragons taken, baron, movement around the map and your cs.

Sadly the system does not account for game length. And from the looks of it, it looks like either your team just smashed them quickly or they surrendered. You was preforming well bu tthe game just didnt go long enough for you to do what was needed to get the S.

Heres a tip........get a duo partner. You 2 que up for bot and support. Except you que up for support and they que for adc. But you play Miss Fortune and they play whatever support they want. You will be graded against anyone else that played Miss Fortune as support (which shouldnt be many people). Just dont feed and get about 4 or 5 kills, place a few wards, and help with objectives and most likely you will get a S.

its a flaw in the system, use it until they fix it.
