Why not nerf Tank ekko by reverting the buffs given to Ekko over the course of the last few months?

What is the point of making all these new changes to Ekko when he was perfectly balanced before all of his cd buffs. A few months ago I mained Ekko the only way you could, full ap. Tank Ekko was just a pocket pick a few people played both tank and ap had a ~50% win rate. Call me salty but I hate the idea riot has to remove his passive's slow.

The "buffs" Ekko got didn't cause Tankko to become a thing. People realized how good IBG+Sunfire+Grasp were, and then tried to find the best assassin to abuse it on. Ultimately, people ended on Ekko. Fizz was second. People did try tank Talon, Katarina, and Zed from what I've seen, to varying levels of success.

Its because no buffs or nerfs will change Ekko. The only way to fix Ekko is literally kit changes, he has too much built in that nothing will change it. Regardless of if he has good ratios or base, if Ekko can build tanky to cover his only weakness(being squishy and melee since other than his shield, AP Ekko is one of the squishier champs) he will do it.

He needs his kit changed. He either needs his passive nerfed or lose a lot of his utility. There really is no reason if he goes tanky utility that he can do fairly substantial damage, or why a burst assassin should have that much utility. Basically remove his %hp damage from his ult and maybe even the slow part of it or remove his utility since he basically gets what? A blink, dash, a few slows, a stun, on an assassin.

the buffs weren't big. it was a cooldown reduction in lower levels. which in pro play. the first few levels are more important than late or mid game. they care about early invades. he got popular again and people play him. i used to play tankko before the buffs and it was just as strong.
