I know this question has been asked before but most of the discussions I've seen are years old. So I wanted to re-ask the age old question...what are the best two all-around rune pages for LoL for new players?
Currently, I'm running an ADC attack-damage based page and a Caster/ability power based page.
Thoughts, suggestions, comments?
for AD: Flat AD reds, Flat armor yellows, Flat MR blues, Flat AD quints (or attack speed) for AP: Magic pen reds, Flat armor yellows, Flat MR blues, AP quints
-assuming u only have 2 pages, this is what i would run-
most popular by far
for any ad player -
AD red/armor yellow/ EITHER scaling or flat MR blues. and AD quints.
for any AP player
magic pen red/ (armor or scaling health or mana regen, champion preference) yellow / (magic res or AP) blue / AP quints
i go with AD/armor/flat mr /ad quints and my prefered ap set is magic pen/scaling health/magic res/ magic pen quints.
Get all percentage health runes, fill in rest of slots with scaling health, play 
, win, dance, be merry
