Lets talk about Akali.

Akali as a champ is in an interesting place, her winrate is now at 48% not too bad. She is a champ that loses most lane matchups shes get bullied til level 6 when she hits an insane power spike. What i want to talk about on this champion is the upcoming assassin rework and what i would change if in their position.

First lets talk about her passive twin disciplines. This passive in my opinion is one of the most balanced things about her. It sets up her build as a hybrid but mostly mage. This passive scales well and can end up doing a lot of damage due to the additional damage she gets with discipline of force. Discipline of Might gives her a bit of sustain in the late but insignificant in the early. This passive has little significance in the early but scales well.

Next her q mark of the assassin. This makes up the main source of her damage. This ability is normally maxed first and is her main farming tool pre-six since she is melee and has no way to farm safely. This ability is very balanced since it is useless as poke since it will like do 30 damage rank 1 unless the second proc is done. I would only increase the speed this ability travels so it can match her ult.

Next is her W Twilight shroud. This is her worst ability by far and is one of the only things i would change about her. Its only use it to hide as you wait cooldowns in the early game. Late it will most likely be shat on by a pink or champion ability that reveals. I would like this ability to be reworked if they touch this champion. Her stealth is the only one in the game that keeps her in the same spot. I feel that if they made this something else this champ would potentially become competitively viable like leblanc and zed.

Next her E crescent slash. This ability is meh the ratios are low and so is the base damage. If the ratios were reversed (40% ap/ 60% ad) to 60% ap to 40% ad and the raised is cd i think this ability could be a bit better but right now its not really note worthy. I think it having such a low cd just makes it more of an energy waster then a damage ability. Maybe good for waveclear after items.

Now Akali's ult her best ability and one of the best ults for assassins. This is what gives her one of the biggest level powerspikes of any champion. This allows her to gapclose champions. The low base damage and decent ratio is not what makes this ability good, its the needed gapcloser to bring her damage to the enemy. The having 3 charges allows her basically to catch any champ and take their head. This ability needs to stay the same if they change akali or she just wont be the same akali (metaphorically speaking).

TLDR: Change her shroud and maybe her cresent slash to make akali a better champion. Her damage is fine the abilities need some fine tuning so she can be competitive level again.
