Lissandra's current passive doesn't need to go

In the past few months posts regarding about Lissandra ask for a new passive and sometimes even reworking her as a whole which are something is going over board. Lissandra's current passive is a sustaining passive which all mid range mages need. All in all it's not a bad passive to have a free spell and whenever Mana changes happens it has little to no impact on Lissandra. It's a passive that allows a Mana mage to play as if Manaless when played correctly, which also allows her to have access to items that Manaless champion wishes they could use. Her current passive is really great in that it not only also Lissandra to play as if Manaless but also to build like it too. It is why she is strongly consider to be a counter to Riven, Yasuo, and Zed because she don't need to worry about Mana and build Seeker's Armguard. The main issue with Lissandra is really a question of is her kit efficient enough? No, it's not sadly. As everyone says her Mana cost is way too high and her cd on her passive is also high for her passive to feel like a sustaining passive. Lissandra also have a power to tankiness problem too as mid range mages need to be either tanky enough to survive team fights or powerful enough to eliminate opponents yet when players all in with her, she's not able to survive her engages most of the time. In short it's like Talon prerework where she goes in take someone out and then pops... after using the hourglass. If there are going to be any changes in the near future for Lissandra I don't think it should be the empowered AA that some people suggest or the extra damage on cc opponents. Rather it should be something that complements on her current passive and adds to her uniqueness.

Once Lissandra's iceborne passive is up,** in addition** to no cost it should give her access to her spells even when they are on cool down, excluding Frozen tomb, with the added affect of "The next spell cast that impairs the movement of an enemy creates an AOE Slow around affected enemy slowing other nearby enemy." and then resume the CD her spell had left off on. Those hit with the Iceborne passive are not slowed themselves by the passive rather the enemy around them are slowed but can be slowed by someone else who is also affected I.E. multiple people gets hit by Ring of Frost will slow each other; in contrast if one person is hit with Ring of frost with Iceborne up that one person is not slowed but will slow their allies. Lissandra's lore let's us know how dangerous she is because of the control and influence she has in Frejord (may have spelled that incorrectly). The suggestive passive fits that as she is able control and influence the movement of her enemy but not their action, and it should give players respect on the threat of what "Iceborne" can do. The passive is not prefect but it can be played around like having small slow radius, instead of instant access to spells have access to spells that are 1.5 seconds to be refreshed and to top it off it doesn't disrupt Lissandra's flexible play style. It's a FREE spell passive you can go crazy with it...or not.

Lissandra is a control burst mage that distinguish herself from others because of her burst speed is, if not the fastest, one of the fastest burst, she can engage with the opponent having little to no reaction, flexible champion, preposition herself in which no other control mages can really do, and her instant CC/chain CC. Most mid range mage are dangerous when they are in range and this passive not only give her a power spike but also let her opponents know that coming into Lissandra's range should be as frightening as Quin's experience. Most people suggest a some sort of additional power passive like empowered AA or bonus damage to cc enemies but those passive don't really add any depths and can and have fit to other champions already, plus I don't see how they make Lissandra's role so well as Lissandra's range is limited every mages wish they can weave their slow AA in their cc move for extra damage. Her current passive does need help but it doesn't need to be replace but rather tuned to be a threatening level. As is Lissandra's state is not terrible but not great. In the past she only got numbers touch excluding the self healing from her Ultimate, which is also why I think she doesn't need a power passive as she can just get any number buff and be fine. The trouble with Lissandra right now is as stated above that things in her kit are not efficient enough. What she needs from a passive is something that says to her enemies is, "Respect the glowing head piece."

No reason she cant have that passive shifted onto one of her other spells, that's what they did when they reworked Swain and cass

As long as they update the rest of her kit I don't mind if her passive stays. Small quality of life changes like shifting damage from her E to her W would be a good start to bring her back.

her passive is decent but is very very very boring and doesnt really do much to her kit she needs something to make her more fun and to awake that spark. she is supposed to be a burst mage but everyone forgets that cause she is constantly played as a battle mage or a cc support champion and her original role is kinda forgotten. Also all abilities on her kit kinda work well with each other and have nice sinergy thats why full vgu is on so many peoples minds since if you remove one ability of current lissandras kit she will need to change others to so either VGU or some minor changes to her spells ( preffered ) and new passive to add to her combos ( i would love something with brittle )
