Lethality and Tanks

So with the new Lethality update, many assassin mains are jumping with joy. This is because they can shred through champions like Volibear just like they can a support lulu. This update has really put tanks in a uncomfortable position as when I get into a game and build full tank Amumu, i get shredded by a Lucian in 3-4 seconds. The point of a tank is to soak up a lot of damage in team fights, but they can not complete this roll when the enemy carries can melt them down like a ice cream cone in the middle of July! Riot, please fix this problem, people main tanks too!

The funny thing is, Riot renamed (Flat) Armor Penetration into Lethality just to make it especially clear that Lethality is not necessarily a viable stat against Tanks.

Yet here we are.

In not surprised if it works against them late game.

If not for the fact that Lethality scales, Late game is in fact when Flat Armor Penetration is weakest .-.

That's what supports my reasoning.

Not good reasoning.

Let's say on Duskblade, Lethality scales by 0.5 per level.

The only champion in the game whose base armor per level scales less than that is Thresh.

In fact, I take back what I said. Despite the fact that it scales, it still kinda sucks late game.

It's been a damage focused dev team for a while now. I don't expect tanks to fill their old shoes for a very long time.

Someone here hasn't apparently listened to how lethality works.
