Ekko's Timewinder Cancelled by Yasuo's Wind Wall

Don't know if this has ever been addressed, but I noticed that if Yasuo puts up his Wind Wall AFTER Ekko's Timewinder has already passed the eventual Wind Wall location (even if it's gone and hit Yasuo or other enemies), that the Wind Wall will cancel the Timewinder immediately upon casting. In other words, the Timewinder is not allowed to complete or even begin it's return path to Ekko. While I can see the Wind Wall destroying the Timewinder if it passes THROUGH the wall on its return (though even that is questionable because of the direction of the Wind Wall?) I don't understand why it cancels the Timewinder completely without even touching it.

Is this a bug? Just a poor design? Intended? I dunno. But it seems wrong. Let me know!

yasuo's windwall comes from behind him. So if that timewinder is right behind yasuo, him using his windwall will still destroy it, even though it's well behind where his windwall will be placed.
