I need contact with someone responsible for balancing the game. The issue is simple, you reworked Poppy into being useless. Her ult is good for rejecting people from a teamfi...no get out... You just lose kills from this skill. I want to slam my opponent wherever I please not TO THEIR BASE!? HOW DOES LAUNCHING THEM TO SAFETY HELP ME?! I didn't unlock her all those years ago to boot one person from a team fight and then kill the other four. I chose poppy so I could 5v1 as a tank. Now she is just worthless CC. Not even good cc....

You can just admit that you do not know how to play Poppy. Simple as that. Or else, what other reason is there for her being constantly pick in competitve play.

she has 4.5 forms of cc, has amazing teamfighting and can easily turn a 5v5 into a 5v3.

The issue is simple, you reworked Poppy into being useless.

How is she any less useless than before the rework? Hell, the rework made her not only better, but added made me fall in love with her, both kit-wise and lore. Her new kit currently has

  • A MR/Armor boost plus a AoE effect that blocks dashes
  • An ult that can change the tide of a teamfight(ex: Hitting the enemy ADC and/or tank away)
  • A passive that gives her a shield plus range

Her old was very fun(loved forcing enemies to burn their flash from an ult tower dive), but the new one not only adds a lot more utility and tankiness, but kept a portion of her old damage along with it.

Well, it keeps yourself and possibly if they're chasing, or send a carry far away from their team while you pick off the rest of their team.

So, in your book, a stun, a knockback/knockup with possibly huge range, and an ability that blocks dashes whilst speeding her up is not good CC? I think you might be playing new Poppy incorrectly, mate. And I doubt you could 1v5 a team when her old ult ran out after she's killed her target.

Ult the enemy team front line. How's a tank supposed to peel for the carries if they're in their base?

When you use her R...it better be in team fights...if it isn't in a team fight, your opponent better be damn near close to death and your Q/E better be cooled so you have the element of surprise on your hand.

When you play poppy...remember 3 important things:

Poppy needs DAMAGE! Poppy needs GOOD PEELING capabilities! Poppy is Poppy. People hate her and avoid walls when they come in close proximity to her.

A buddy of mine dedicated an entire account to that champ...PoppinUrPoppy Look... She's VERY easy to play, and her kit isn't that bad. The only person you should be flying back to base is the one person that can really cause you problems...and that's either the fed ADC or the Support. If you waste that ULT on the tank, you're pretty much asking to get thrashed. Point. Case. Game.

Edit: I'm no pro with poppy...but it doesn't take a genius to figure her out.

I seem to see many of you countering the ult with team fight garbage. If you are a tank and you are ramming an ADC out of the team fight chances are the enemy team is now behind you slaughtering your team. Thing is poppy is a tank, and as such her job is to absorb damage and dish it out. Right now she tanks some damage dishes out ok damage and does a bunch of MINOR cc's which is useless CC. first of all you have to land her CC which is highly difficult because not many people are foolish enough to get pointblank rekt by simple dodge able skills. Her R is HIGHLY visible with the windup, you're not nailing a good ADC with it. If a tanks job was to force players out of team fights blitzcrank wouldn't pull them to him, singed wouldn't flip people behind him and nasus wouldn't cripple them. Heck even Mundo cripples enemy's and drags them all in. Mumu slows/stuns. Etc. A good tank holds enemy's near them so that the team can fight safely. I loved old poppy because even if her kit wasn't that great I could at least use my R on the support which basically gave me 6 seconds of godmode. So I could crush the enemy team or make them scatter.
