Teamfights happening in random places
Working on improving my teamfights.
I've had some good skirmishes where we made a good trade and backed off, or pushed the enemy away or killed them and took down a tower, but lately I've been noticing my teams rushing toward any enemy on the map until it drew everyone to that spot and fighting until everyone dies like the 3rd act of Shakespeare or something.
I'm of the opinion that when you want to force conflict, it should be near an objective. Thoughts? I think the team agreeing on this strategy is a big factor in the game. Is there any reason to engage near a jungle camp other than possibly a buff, surrounded by blind spots, when lane minions give better XP and can lead to getting a tower down?
I'm low ELO but with a lot of experience, so I'd really like to figure this out, it seems to be my biggest stumbing block. A lot times it starts like this: bot lane gets a good trade, but one escapes at half health. Soon the lane partner and the jungler is chasing until they are triple teamed by respawns or teleports because I tried to capture the tower while it was undefended, then decided to help my crew because they are kill-chasing, often champs with no bounty even and we end up getting picked off. Even once we get geared, it still seems to be a rush to engage wherever they appear, rather than try and fight near towers, drake, etc.
