Ranked matchmaking is unbalanced

I just finished playing a few games and I've noticed that the teams are NOT very balanced. According to Riot, they try to make the matches fair by having each team around the same tier level. In my last game, my team was an average of gold 3 while the other team's average was gold 1. My team had a silver player while the other team had a plat player. They ended up playing in the mid lane against each other and I bet you can guess who won that match up. In the end, we got stomped and I'm not sure how this was a fair match going into the game. https://imgur.com/a/7fiL1Qm

Erm... Your mid laner is 100% a smurf and your top laner also has a nice winrate. Remember, it matches you off mmr, not rank. So a p4 player with a negative winrate will have a similar mmr as a low gold/high silver player with an high winrate.

Everyone in the enemy team has more than 400 games played and around or <50% winrate. Your team has only one person with almost 800 and one with 137 games played, the others less than 100 with way higher winrates up to 60%.

You might stop just looking at the numbers of silver 1 and plat 4, after all they are both just 1 rank away of being in the same tier. Your team consists of people starting in low elo and climbing to their designated mmr while the enemies are 5 stuck/dropping players.
