Lack of hextech chest drops

Is there a glitch in the hextech chests or what?! I have gotten numerous chests before and know the basic guidelines. But just recently i have been unable to earn any despite repeated S performances by myself and teammates. I have tried different combinations of champions (all of which ive never earned a chest with before), and even different game styles. Is anyone else having a similar issue?

Check your profile, there's a spot that says "Next chest available in", and you will know when you can get your next chest. When it become available, get an S with a champion that you have not received a chest with before, and you will get one.

i have 4 available. ive had the same 4 available for almost a month. and ive played champs that havent earned any before.
