I go 7-3 in placement matches and get placed in B5 WTF?

look at my numbers. why am I in bronze?

First Vayne loss get a shen "support" that feeds lane and a rengar that doesn't gank for 15 min because he died to jungle camps 4 times.

Second Vayne loss get the same Rengar on my team again except this time he's gnar and feeding top lane, and won't group later on.

The pantheon loss the ADC goes 5-13 and we have a "silver 5" darius that feeds all game. When i checked his records he lost EVERY one of his placement matches.

The worst part is I get reported by these people for giving advice and will soon be rank restricted again.

Should I just quit?

MMR matters. You could go 40/0/0 in every match, but if you lose against people of lower MMR you are worse off than losing against someone of higher.

I don't think it is your numbers. Ill bet you are annoying as hell....Probably rapid-fire typing from champ select, telling people what to pick and then dissing those that make picks you don't agree with.

Maybe one of those that says "mid" when 4th pick, then starts bitching about first pick taking it.

Do you say "this insert champ name" ?

Do you say "why did you do that?" and then keep typing about it after the fact?

There is a difference between giving advice and just being an ass...Ill bet you are walking on the ass side of it if you are getting reported.

Make calls....If people don't follow your calls, don't say anything about it, just continue making calls.

Don't care that you get reported, people actually look at what happens and as long as you don't flame them a lot you should be fine. (...wait, again?)

Anyway you can carry yourself out of there. Try to avoid the support role (in B5 you can't rely on your team to carry you), maybe dodge if you see the Rengar/Gnar again.

It's bronze. If you play even half-decently all it will take to climb out is persistence. Just keep grinding out games and you'll get out. Picking a carry role or a jungler helps, but I made it out maining Janna and Skarner in s3. If you belong in another league, you'll get there.

Here's the thing though, if all it takes to lose you a game is ONE bad player on your team... you probably do belong where you are. Not trying to be insulting, but it's true. Bad games happen at all ELOs. If you're consistently good, you should be able to carry one failing player in some games. Some games will be a loss no matter what... but in others you can bolster failing lanes, splitpush, force team objectives and roam to get your team a lead and win anyway. Don't write off a game as a loss until it's over.

Ill take the advice to heart. Play jungle, don't flame, avoid support.

but I would love some explanation from the people that claim I'm EXACTLY where I belong, and what would YOU have me do differently

be good at a main role? check (18-2-2 KDR) I even made adc my main to avoid having to fight over top and mid

have a back up role in case your main is taken? check (8-3-3 KDR TOP LANE)

be able to support and jungle? check (2-2-18 KDR) (10-2-2 KDR)

have high cs? (297 highest, average 200) check

win more than you lose? (7-3 in placements) check

don't feed? (17-4-6, 4-3-3, 11-5-13 KDR for my 3 losses) check

BRONZE F#@#IN FIVE!!!????? CHECK, CHECK, DOUBLE CHECK

I climbed out of Bronze 5 into Silver (and will probably be Silver V forever, but that's a different story), and I never got rank restricted. It's all about how you phrase things. In Bronze V, 9 times out of 10 both teams have at least one guy that is trolling/will do whatever he wants/has no idea what he's doing. Being able to work around that is the difference between winning and losing.

My advice? Jungle. B5 laning is simple enough that a jungler that pays attention can secure a victory with dragon control and the occasional gank.

I had this happen in placements into season 4. It may not seem like it but this helped ur mmr a ton. You were probably way below bronze 5 mmr and this brought you up to normal. You should be getting way more lp than before.
