Removing rewards for new SoloQ?

The 2016 Ranked Season: Updates on Dynamic Ranked and your feedback

In this "update", Lyte mentions that rewards will be shifting twoards the new Dynamic Que. Does that mean, when new SoloQ comes out, at the end of the season we won't receive rewards (champ, skin, borders, icon, etc) for our new SoloQ rank? Those rewards are only for Dynamic?

As an avid SoloQ player and looker-forward-tooer of new SoloQ, the removal of SoloQ rewards entirely would really be detrimental to fun for myself, and most of my friends. I wouldn't like to have to decide between having more fun and challenging myself (SoloQ) and earning rewards (Dynamic Que). SoloQ, team 5v5 and 3v3 earned the same rewards this season.

Thanks a lot for the work you do here, I'm just really worried about the total removal of rewards for SoloQ.

Id like some clarity on this myself to be honest. It doesn't seem to make a whole lot of sense to shift rewards at all, since they can just as easily provide the same rewards for both. To be perfectly frank, I feel like soloQ is a better indicator of individual skill in the game anyways, as a sub-par player can get carried by better teammates to an elo they don't belong in using dynamic. But I suppose that's neither here nor there, and at the end of the day they should provide the same rewards for all ranked ladders.
