Warwicks New Ult: Great Concept, Lacking Execution

Emphasis on the execution part. I love that it isn't point and click anymore. With the new range concept, it makes sense to have that change. But has anyone noticed how narrow the hitbox is? Like, the enemy just trickles off to the side and boom, missed ult. I've had a few games now where I would click where the carries are, and there is zero margin for error. The ult right now is better off until AFTER you already engage and need a free lockdown on the carry's face. In which case, you'd be better off with Sion or Naut or some other champ with constant CC. It isn't just me either, the handful of WW's I've seen have all missed their ults, roughly 80% of the time, and awkwardly slid into the middle of the enemy team. Congratulations Riot, you finally released a champ that wasn't totally overpowered upon release or rework. For the worst possible reason.

Salty rant over. Out

I've found ww to be really underwhelming. His kit looks really good from the descriptions and all, but he still has zero kill pressure before six, an easily countered ult (you don't even need a dash or flash to dodge it, just walk to the side), and little team utility outside of vision. He also just feels really squishy. I don't see a reason to take him over a brainless point and click champ like Vi who just presses R and gives her team a free, uncounterable kill with no effort or skill required.

His passive is also underwhelming because of how easy it is to kite him. I get he's a new champ, but genuinely strong champs are obvious from release, even with people who haven't played them before (Camille especially. You can first time her and go 18/4 or whatever)

A bad player like me cannot engage with ult. We have to save it for the middle of the fight when it is hanging on a knife's edge, then ult and lock them up long enough to kill them. I did manage to hit two engage ults, out of about 10 I tried. The other ults I did besides those were close-quarters trying to either sacrifice myself to get teammates out or trying to turn a fight.

Yes!

Your second part, that it is used AFTER the engage, is right on. I wonder if Riot intended that or not?

You could leap from the bush or something, but it's so hard to hit sometimes for the reasons you mentioned.

On a side note, I really love his fear and the way he can dash past his victims. Makes for great ganks, imo.

People just need to get used to it.

Ya you miss way to often because the range is long and the width is about what Illoais's E is.

If you need you should get 50% of the CD refunded.
