Early or mid season for placements?

Does it matter if i play my placement games at the start of the season or in mid season? For example, will i be placed in a higher division if i go 8-2 in mid season, than i would if i go 8-2 at the start of the season?

Id does not matter when you do them. I will say this though, the middle of the season will net you more trolls.
