fix the matchmaking please!

i dont know if this is the way the programmers wanted it to be, or if its just who is playing now, but more often than not the games im in are ridiculously unbalanced. either we crush them or they crush us. there's nothing in between. once in a blue moon ill get into a competitive game, but most the time its just a steamroll due to a smurf or a terrible...terrible lopsided skill matchup. Im not skilled myself enough to carry and i dont really play heroes than really can so as the team gets squashed in the first 10 minutes...its just over. and its been this way for months!

i still play because when you get into those super tight matches its so much fun. but they're happening less and less :(

It's nothing about the matchmaking system. 63% of the population is in bronze and silver. That's a lot. The probability of getting a troll or seriously unskilled player is like every second game, so count on it. It's just the community, no algorithm to fix that. Just be sure to report when it matters, it really works

If you want to escape that, then you have to play a competitive champ. Only those can carry regardless of your skill or if your allies are bad. I'm talking about bronze or silver

Has nothing to do with matchmaking. The meta right now is extremely snowbally and turning small differences in skill into steamrolls. The difference in skill needed to snowball a game is smaller than the fluctuation of most players from 1 game to the next.

well I AM in silver. ive been gold before, but was pretty quickly snuffed out. which i am okay with actually because i didnt find it enjoyable, things got a little too intense and people had boiled strategies down to a science. not for me lol

AND JUST AFTER I MADE THIS TOPIC, we had a super tight game it was lovely. back and forth till the very end! So now i need to get ready for 4 or 5 more steamroll games lol
