First placements ever
What if i go 6/4 or 5/5 in the first placements and i was matched up against high silver/low gold players?

Sp33d Zer01 votesThe standard MMR for everyone the first time is 1200. That puts you around mid silver I believe. Depending on how long you have played, and how well you have played, that could be skewed towards bronze if you are new and have played very badly, or gold if you have played very well over years of experience.
The raw numbers of 1/9, 2/8, 3/7, 4/6, 5/5, 6/4, 7/3, 8/2, 9/1, 10/0 actually has very little impact.
