Hi, is it me or the rune of Dark harvest is OP on Sona As i play i can almost always one shot the others in bot lane as support [slayer-jinx-catface] but my question is... Is it good doing this build or not cause u know the most of people says that runes like the new thunderlord or the aery are the best ones ?
I guess it would be good for a kill lane that is always fighting or poking . If it's just you trying to chunk down the enemy laners you will probably run out of Mana as your adc might want to farm. As well the loss of aery shield is a thing. Personally I wonder if taking shield bash as one of her secondary minor runes is s good idea because that could be pretty cool.
Aery is better overall on sona, i main her on support role
Dark Harvest is overtuned but its not an auto pick
It's very snowbally but it won't reward you if you're getting zoned or dying. Its best for Assassin/Fighter style champs since they can dive champs who are low hp with less risk, but Sona is one of the squishiest champs in the game. Even if an auto is all you need to proc it, its at best situational. You're better off with Aery for poke, Spellbook for versatility, or Klepto if you're greedy. Dark Harvest will net you more damage over the course of the whole game but only if you're ahead.
If you're playing something like Sona/Lucian or Sona/Draven into an easy matchup, Dark Harvest will probably work just fine. But don't treat it like a free win, you have to earn those stacks.
And remember the dark harvest was updated into the 50% hp proc, which sucks for some champs and others not, i pick it as Meta cause mostly in bot lane theres higher chance of one being low .
As i love to be the burst ap support that heals/shields much while damageing much, i would say it works pretty well late game and sometimes if u are lucky early game , mid game is a bit lame until lich bane which literally u deal half health to almost everyone whos not so tanky
