4 wins s5 silver 5 preseason silver 3 got placed in bronze 3... Why?

When I started s5 I won 6 games and got put on bronze 2, and I played about 100 games to get up to silver 5 or 4 I can't remember. On preseason I went up to silver 3, so I thought I'd probably get put on silver or even hold if I do well in the placement games. However, thought I didn't do super will, had a little bit of internet issues, I dropped all the way from silver 3 to bronze 3, I don't understand why at all. I am just so done with this ranked system, I have so many friends of mine that are worse than me, and one of them win 2 games last season and was on silver 4, another one who duoed with me won 5 and was on silver 2. I honestly don't understand, someone pls explain to me.

Dude I was in silver, just finished my placements at 9W 1L. Got Bronze II.

After Placements, you won't be the same rank you ended S5 / S6 Preseason as.

If you deserve to be a higher rank, then eventually you will get there.

For those who don't understand why there are MMR resets and why Placements are how they are take into consideration the following.

The game is constantly changing, Players can be a Bronze material player one patch and a Gold Player in another patch. Don't expect to be the same rank every season just because you ended S5 as X rank. The game is always changing that means the player must adapt to these changes. Some players adapt to change better than others, that is why they are ranked higher. The point of the MMR Reset is to display how a player has adapted to these changes, which means the rank you're placed at isn't so significant. 10 Game is statistically not a large enough sample size to draw any conclusions, so stop worrying about your Rank and continue playing more games.

Not even a week into Season 6 so stop complaining.
