What will happen to the king of sustain, the lategame monster?
With Riot removing Will of the Ancients, they are shutting down vladimir and his kit. The item fits perfectly to vladimir with its cdr, ap of course, and the spellvamp. Yes, the spellvamp is the key to win in vlad's case, vlad mains (and not mains) are rushing it for a reason, and unless vladimir does not get spellvamp as a passive, the champion is practically dead. If it is really necessary to remove spellvamp**, I would recommend a passive that scales up with the levels of the champion, so its not that overpovered early on.
** I dont really understand why riot has to remove items, with the reason "only this that and that champion buys it". So what?? Does that item takes so much space? No. Does it offend anybody? No. Does it hurt somebody? No. Then why would you take it out?? I mean, spellvamp is the kind-of-a balance to the ad lifesteal. Spellvamp is not even that strong like lifesteal. There are 5 lifesteal items in the game, and only 2 spellvamp items wich are even weaker than lifesteal. Im just saying that Riot should leave spellvamp alone. Okay, vlad akali etc... Are not popular champions but there are players who love and main those champions, and they build their whole playstile around the spellvamp. For example, im a rank 5 vlad player and i love playing with it. I dont win every game with him, but still, i love playing as vlad. But if they remove the items and dont give him an alternative, it will be less fun to play with him. Discuss, I would like to see opinions about how can these champions(vlad akali morde...) survive without ANY spellvamp.
