Season 9 Demotion Questions. Platinum

Hi Guys, I just reached Platinum 4 this season but I am a little afraid about the demotion system when you lose while 0 lp. I see people saying that you would only demote if you reach the mmr of a gold 4? It seems a little weird. Isn't that losing a lot of games? Like 20 plus game while being 0 LP? It will be great If any one can speak out from experience regarding the question. Approximately, how many loses while in 0 LP will make you demote from Platinum 4 to Gold 1?

You won't instantly demote at 0 LP.

Once you lose so many games, a warning will appear on your profile in the form of a Yellow or red warning triangle.

Yellow means your MMR is a lot lower than your division and you need to start winning.

Red means you are REALLY CLOSE to demotion, if you don't start winning now you will demote.

im currently plat 4 0 lp and i lost like 3/ matches in 0 lp but i dont find any yellow/red warnings but the question is i didnt play ranked for like 3 weeks now and i got exams coming up so i probably wont be playing ranked till the end of the season, can my rank decay to gold 1?

No.

Decay is only active for Diamond 4 and above.
