If enemy team gets 2 more drakes and keeps that 15+ kill lead i would personally FF it.

But there's always 1 random tryhard in every team that's pissed off and clicks no but instead of playing he goes in raging and dies repeatedly instead.

MyranWoR3 votes

We started closing the lead since we had the better late game champs but my midlane Khazix decided to start intentional feeding because he wanted to end the match faster and go next.

You can see him walk up to the turret and let the opponent kill him multiple times in the game. My jungler was no better in that he failed three invades and didn't learn from it. He's probably blaming it on the exp gap now.

I'm not sure what elo this game is, but the higher elo you go the chance of winning such a game get much smaller.

Around plat that i play people know how to close games and so far i only turned 1 single game from sure loss to win and i already playing around 30+ games i think.

I'm sure in diamond and masters it's much harder to contest a lead.

It's the same shit there, stop sugarcoating it.

Watching high elo streamers shows me it's literally the same case in DIamond. You have ex challenger players go on massive 8 loss - 2 win, streaks and worse constantly. The only problem here is the matchmaking. Let's not divert the focus from how horrendous matchmaking is.

I wasn't sure we were discussing matchmaking. But it's a real fact that people in higher elo know better how to close winning games.

As far as matchmaking is concerned... it's not ideal but what i often see 1 or 2 people in a team that don't seem to belong in the elo they are playing in but quite lower than that

For me I think its a sign Riot needs to improve behavior systems.

The Battleroyal mentality of NEXT for anything that looks like its not an easy win is really annoying. I can live with 1 player being subpar on my team because its stupid to think all 4 folks on your side are gonna outperform their counterparts.

Its annoying to see folks instantly give up the moment anything goes wrong. Goes from being down 1 player to 2 players. Just compounding disadvantages and makes games hair trigger snowball.

1 lane lost then 2 other folks call it GG, mentally check out and wanna "NEXT" it? Great. 2 players on a team that's behind trying to win vs 5. Real mystery what's going to happen.

I hope you get a alert and that the Kah gets banned.

MyranWoR3 votes

I have reported him but I don't have faith in Riot's system.

I'll move to a different game for good.

Kai Guy2 votes

If you like mobas. Dota 2. Heros of the storm. Smite.

The only one I quit for good was Dota. Just cant stand turnspeed as a balance mechanic.

You could check out hades by supergiant games. They are a dev I really like to support. Still in early access thou.

Share what ya like if your looking for recommendations.

But far as leauge goes. MM don't fix shitty attitudes which is why I'm vocal and look to kill any "elo hell" excuses.

MyranWoR1 votes

I play more of Dota 2 because it's more popular in my country and has a far better community here than most other places.

I'll check Hades out. I played LoL on my work notebook due to the low system requirements but I had decided season 10 was going to be the last chance I was going to give Riot and it hasn't changed my opinion for the better.

Kai Guy1 votes

Hades is a rouge lite. Supergiant as devs just seem to love games.

Dude don't even get me started.

I got a malz last game who did nothing but spam chat with how he wants to report a NAsus cause he was damage hacking the game and cheating.. fed the nasus 5 kills and let him free farm then complained that he was op.

It's a surprise these people don't drop down in MMR fast enough.

I just had a match where I secured every dragon and herald up to elder, along with getting my team ahead and getting quite a substantial lead myself.

My team gets cocky, and just lets the enemy team have elder because my jungle camps are far more important at the time. Then they start dying 1 vs 5 and one by one... completely reversing all the hard work I had just spent like 20+ minutes doing.

To me, at least, I would rather be losing and then win like the enemy team did.... then do ALL that work and just lose because your team just doesn't care to win the match anymore.

Even challenger level streamers who have been playing the game since season 1 are struggling to carry and going on massive losing streaks.

Something tells me individual performance isn't what's lacking in games this season.

No shit. They're facing other challenger-level players. They don't get to challenger because they never lose. They get to challenger because they rarely lose against players who are below challenger/grandmaster/master. They may go 0/16/3 at some point, but they certainly don't do it against bronze players.

MyranWoR3 votes

Except they are not, and are playing against players who aren't in their actual divisions yet.

That happens when riot guts a role so hard no one wants to play it anymore.

Oh I know I can no longer Queue as Support unless I'm auto-fill protected because the game wants to toss supports into jg fill before any other role. It's a sad time when support is more popular then jg. [sg-janna]

Right? That’s when you know there is a serious problem with a role. The same thing happened with adc when riot gutted crit into the dirt.

My jungler failed three invades, gave my laner the first blood, and fed her twice later in 1v1's while being two levels behind on negative KDA.

The opponent wasn't bad but with the way my jungler played I doubt it mattered. This guy deliberately ruined the game along with everyone else on my team.

riven got fb from yi then op solo killed riven then died to her solo then they proceeded to trade kills one more time and THEN the game devolved into a feeding frenzy he ended the game 4/7 when i see people complaining about matchmaking i atleast expect them to be 20cs up and 2/0 minimum and not going barely even in lane

bear in mind Yi ended with 11 kills riven ended with 16 kills jax ended with 4 kills and 3 assissts he didn't do anything to positively contribute to his team except maybe not inting which isn't a positive contribution (as you know nobody likes playing with kda players)

plenty of things you can do to turn a game around when everyone but you is hard failing you failing to realize or execute on them properly just makes you a part of "everyone"

a famous saying when your team is trash the enemy team is just as trash as them and if you can't beat trash then you belong with the trash

the odd cases where a team is clearly outclassed are rare enough to not factor in your climb as those cases occur both in your team and the enemy team

Tremendous logic, you gotta be Challenger I guess.

the same applies to all eloes my dude yes you can do something even ultra ahead teams

the 1st step is to win your lane the 2nd step is to not die the 3rd step is to not flame your team the 4th step is guide your team when good things happen

because in every game good things are happening all the time maybe your mid is 0/3 but 20cs ahead this means that your mid is the better player if you help him get his items put a little pressure on his lane so he stops dying he might just become your secondary carry and help you win

yes plenty of things you can do in every elo tfblade has proven this concept until rank 1 mulitple times in multiple seasons

now not every game is winnable but if you treat every game as winnable you will win a lot more of your games

Please don't include pro players, for a reason they are pro players.

There are only couple of players who are great at leading and reacting quickly what must be done.

Not everyone of us has leader intuition.

I am a team player, but not a leader, if I have a great leader I can perform better. Your whole shitpost is on next BS level. Please stop posting.

then what do you want? to sit back relax have a cigar int and gain your elo?

nobody wants you to get 90%-100% win rates until diamond all it takes for you is to get to 55% win rate and in 100 games you will be a full tier above your current one and to 55% win rate it takes really little improvement especially for people from bronze to platinum thats why diamond is a shithole because in current state of the game it's indestinguishable from silver for the players that got to diamond before season 5

Where did I said that?

Just simply there are matches where you can't win due factors such as bad macro playing, bad decision making, got off picked, lack of vision and so on.

I hardly believe you carrying atleast 50% of ur matches, either you wouldn't shit talk at all.

if you can carry 50% of your matches you will be at 90% win rate you need to carry 15% of your matches the games that you can decide you have to be at your best and for that to happen you need to try in all of your games

40% of your games are won not because of you 40% of your games are lost not because of you

a 50% win rate means average consistency for your elo a 55% win rate means you are above average for your elo and you will be climbing a 60% win rate means high consistency for your elo and you will be climbing really fast a 70% win rate can be achieved by high consistency of a duo (this is why duo is op) above 60% solo means you are smurfing for your elo 10% + for each tier thats why people like ratirl and tfblade can go to masters with up to 80-90% win rates in their climbs without much of an effort

Gotta love people who are like "WeLl YoU gOt HiT bY tHe BuS tOo!". I was trying to save your monkey brained self from impending doom as you just lie down in front of it.

The problem is Matchmaking has ALWAYS been an issue, but this season is even worse BECAUSE Rito likes to take away individual performance while pushing team play via snowballing. When it's only one person who snowballs, it isn't as bad IMO. When the snowball begins to help the whole team because of one player's decision making due to being up paired.... It's a problem.

This has always been a problem with Swiss pairing though. Anyone who does any kind of gaming tournament where it's 1v1 knows this. You basically "fake" your first game so you can get down paired. Then you just shit on the entire populace on your way back to the top. The only problem is this is a team based game now trying to push as a competitive 50% WR. This hasn't been done before, because it doesn't work.

no im not saying he was hit by a bus as well he was trading poorly in lane resulting in kills being traded his farm was just barely above rivens if the game was even and that riven was better than him by 5% he would have lost the game regardless and it would have been his fault

by that i mean that he didn't deserve to win but i get the pain of seeing your team go 0/10 while you are struggling to stay even

He's doing quite well actually compared to what he's matched with and how strong the enemy is currently. With an enemy that strong he could be feeding a bit more and still be considered doing well considering his situation.

that's not matchmaking, that's game design

Game design isn't forcing my teammates to go negative KDA by 10 mins, their monkey brains are.

If the game matches regular players against those with the brain of a baboon, that's matchmaking.

What the game design does, however, is allow for kills to give huge xp and gold leads, making the outcome of the game far beyond your control if some guy decides to int their ass off and you aren't some fed Tryndamere/Jax/Yi/Irelia.

  1. Negative KDA does not exist
  2. One little mistake can now snowball a lane hard, so even if the players have the same skill level the first one to make a mistake (even if the mistake is : "I got counterpicked") can quickly end in the dumpster
  3. Maybe none of your teammates is playing on his regular main champion, how can the matchmaking account for this ?
