I'm pretty new to the game, and I know that warding is a very important factor, so I want to get better at it. If you could answer my question, I'd be very appreciated. I know that when the enemy teams wards near your team's ward, they can see it but are wards just hidden in general? Thank you!
NiamhNyx1 votesThey can only see your ward if it is revealed by a trincket, plant, item skill or control ward, other wise its invisible. Control wards are not invisible.
Metal Janna1 votesRegular stealth wards are invisible about 3 seconds after you place them, until revealed.
The same things that can reveal them also disable them, so you'll know if they're revealed by them being off.
(exception to this: 
knows when he is spotted by a ward, but doesn't know where it is)
Z3Sleeper1 votesStealth wards are completely invisible. The enemy has no clue you've warded other than if they saw you ward.
However, it's easy for higher level players to know you've warded based on your actions after spotting them with a ward.
For example: If they walk through your ward towards your lane and you start backing up immediately, they know it's warded, even if they can't see it.
Much of the anti-vision gameplay in this game comes from deductions based on enemy player movement. It's similar to "tracking" your enemy jungler even though you can't see them by deducing their pathing.
