Skarner has the least picked rate out of all the champion as shown on op.gg. He is not weak or strong he is just boring. Like you can compare him to the old Warwick. All you do for Skarner is spam q and aa and hope for the best. Like the old Warwick. But since Warwick got his rework his play style got so much more engaging. But Skarner oh man he spam q all day I think it's time for him to get a rework.

Sightless663 votesYou don't do a rework to make a champion balanced. That's what balancing is for. You do a rework because a champion completely fails at appealing to its audience. You do a rework when nobody cares if a champion is balanced, because they all know they may never play against that champion again. That's Skarner right now.

People cry for that in interesting champions. They don't give a fuck what the balance state of champions like Skarner is, so long as it isn't too OP. What people actually want for Skarner is any reason whatsoever to play him, and that's kind of lacking right now.

You can start almost any camp you want and clear every camp with nearly full health with just a talisman

He is much more interactive than many champions (Shyvana huuurrrr duurrrrrr farm for 20 min both jungles and then R into TFs to outstat everything) or nunu (Derp around objectives and take them with Q. Press W on ADC and hope they are better than the enemy one. In rare scenario set up an ult in bush but thats the only fun bit).
All skarner needs are a few mobility buffs so that he can get onto some targets without needing a flash. Perhaps slightly higher Q dmg at lvls 2-5 and he is good to go.
An interesting idea would to give his E empowered AA a bit more range (like wukong Q). It would again help with getting to targets.
