Remove autofill and secondary roles.

Kinda tired of these kinda threads. The game is better with autofill. Before Auto Fill it went pick order and with pick order you had a higher chance of getting roles you didnt want compared to now

Single role without autofill would lead to ridiculous queue times for everyone. That being said, there is absolutely no good reason to keep autofill in solo queue when everyone selects 2 roles.

Maybe stop doing the thing that Riot punishes you for, then?

You have no greater odds of losing it if you're in a secondary role, since it places you based on your skill. And you lose the same amount of LP from your primary by dodging as you do on a loss, while dodging has penalties that escalate higher and you don't get a chance to gain that LP instead.

riot had a system similar to this in the early development of this new draft pick, it was called team builder. there was no auto fill , you selected a primary and secondary role and waited , if no one in your party had support selected the average que timer was around 30-50 minutes and that was just for a normal game. essentially forcing someone to primary pick support. the autofill system activates once and sometimes you don't even get support , and you're better off playing it than dodging because if you play it out its disabled for a few games , where dodging will give you a que delay and still force you to autofill a role you might not enjoy. i'd suggest becoming more diverse in your champion pool.
