Well idk how to explain this, I climbed really fast playing support from silver 2, to Gold 2, then I started duoing with my BF, he doesnt play bad, he got Silver 1 in his placements but he had a good elo, like me, (he plays top) the problem started when in our first game together, we started to have always 1 person, who has a very bad attitude, randomly very hard throws, and stuff. I know we are not pro players but i really though that we did our job, winning lane, helping other lanes... but... our jungler is always who ruinned this, I dont complain about ganks, I complain about the fact that the other jg is camping and waiting till us make a mistake, but our jungler could try to pick another objetive and he doesnt, he just stay farming and do nothing, if is not that, he just die trying to invade or before Teamfights / important objetives. Im trying to practice jungle rol right now, but I actually dont like it... Im here to ask you for advices, feel free to go to my op.gg profile. since this started to happened to me i got demoted to GoldV, you can take a look to my winrate is just lame... I feel really bad but i want to improve @_@ I think im about to get demoted to silver.

go exhaust heal, no boots, brand sup if enemy almost all tank team, soraka if u have dive team(get warmogs an at lv 16 your heal doesn't cost u hp), taric if enemy all ad, if u don't know their team go nami 2 cc, good for aa teams(ban yas unless u have then still go nami 2 knock ups), have ur adc get barrier not heal

  1. You're taking Transcendence. Stop doing that and never do so again.

  2. You took Ancient Coin Karma. Stop doing that and never do so again.

  3. If you're playing Sona, you need ap, mana regen, and cdr. Otherwise, just don't pick her. That said, you built Redemption/Locket before Ardent. Stop doing that and never do so again.

3B) In games that you build Ardent in general, you build it too late. Ardent is an early itemization choice for Enchanters. If you don't build it relatively quickly, it loses a lot of value as the game progresses. If you build it third item, you most likely missed your chance for the item to be truly impactful. On the flip side of this, you build Redemption too early. Redemption gains value as you stack more Enchanter items. By itself, it's not that strong. It's a late game item. Basically, your build order needs work.

  1. You played Karma. She's doing horribly in solo queue and has been ever since Athene's got changed, because Riot's kinda stupid when it comes to Enchanter champions. Stop playing Karma and wait for Riot to buff her before ever doing so again (in ranked).

  2. You duo'd with someone that was Silver 1 while you were Gold 2. I get that your boyfriend's your main squeeze and numbah 1 boo, all that good jazz...but unless someone I'm going to duo with is around my division on the ladder, I wouldn't do that again. Doing that brought down the quality of your team mates to his level...which is Silver. As a support, you want smarter teams, not the opposite. You aren't the role to just hard carry a bunch of monkeys whether they want it or not. Personally, I never duo (ok, I rarely duo, but you guys get it), but I get the appeal in beating people down on the rift as a Romeo/Juliet gig (or Romeo/Jude or Ramina/Juliet gig, depending). Still, he should have caught up to you some before you started doing that. For future reference, don't shoot the bar so low if you're trying to duo unless you're SURE you can carry that shit consistently.

Duo Queue Duo Queue makes your team mmr lower which means your teammates ranks will always be lower than the opponents or the opponent will also have a duo. If your duo queue partner cannot carry or consistently win games in silver/gold i'd say you're better off playing solo.

Tips for support ROAM!!!! Watch Youtube videos on how to roam as support. League is a team game playing around your jungler and midlane will significantly increase your winrate. I main support and something that I think helped me roam efficiently as a support was learning the jungle role and reading my junglers pathing, ex. ganking mid when he ganks or invading when he invades. Recommended Champs (Blitz, Thresh, Janna, Tahm Kench, Bard, Morg)

Practice your map awareness As a support in Diamond this is one of my biggest weaknesses. Build a habit of looking at the mini map, take a glance every time your adc gets a cs or when your lane is pushed really pushed.

Janna An efficient way I like to play Janna in a winning/pushing lane is by maxing my W and hitting the adc or support whenever it is up and safe to use. Look at the hp of your own minions and if you can see the enemy adc is going to cs it hit em with your W. By maxing W you also increase your move speed which allows you to roam mid or help your jungle out faster. I personally ALWAYS go mobis because of the move speed.

In a losing lane I honestly just play safe and wait for the jungle to help out as well as warding for unexpected dives.

I could tune in and spectate a game once in awhile and give feedback. Good Luck climbing feel free to ask for anymore tips

Cheers!

The most important factor in improving your skill is mindset. Have you heard the saying "practice doesn't make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect"?

You should go into a game with specific goals on things to improve on. "I want to look at my minimap once every 3 seconds." "I want to optimize my roaming/ basing patterns to keep three wards with near constant uptime after I finish quest." "I want to keep track of the enemy jungler and other lanes so I can play around it and ping macro advice to my teammates." Eventually those specific goals become habits integrated into your play after working on them enough. Whether you just died and lost or played well and saved your carry, you should focus on your own play and think about what could have gone better or how you could have improved.

As to specific advice looking at your OP.GG, you could vary your item builds more. On Karma/Janna I see you going coin>Redemption>Loket>Censor every game. Spellthief is generally better on Karma, and spellthief Janna with scorch taking w at level 1 can severely bully weaker lanes.

Some aggressive Janna advice: If you see a warden support like braum or tahm kench try out casting your w on cooldown when its safe and going for free autos when the enemy carry is csing. Duck back into the bush to drop minion aggro. Take free autos on the enemy support whenever he walks close enough that you can duck back behind minions to avoid his Q poke.

It's hard to go wrong buying redemption first, but there are some situations where Crucible is more of a priority. Try experimenting with the item when they enemy has long range CC/Engage. When the enemy hits a leona ult or sejuani ult on my carry, I'd rather cleanse the stun than cast redemption and hope he lives. Locket is sometimes unnecessary or less important than other items. A lot of its power goes into personal defensive stats, so if you seem to be safe in teamfights you can consider more aggressive options like picking up censer before it at the very least.
