Watching LCS I noticed something "funny"

When AurelionSol and Mordekaiser are picked they most likely win the game.

Those 2 are really the oddballs of the proplays, only 2-3 ppl can actually play them and when they do they indeed win a lot causing them to be ban material for the consecutive matches. Yet none of them is really out of balance and can be shut down really easily if you know they are coming. they work as some sort of Jolly.

It's a mix of: A) these champions being extremely effective once you're good at them. Sol and Morde in particular also scale off your own Macro play, meaning they're almost entirely decision-based when it comes to succeeding with them.

B) They're great counterpicks. Morde especially just shuts Assassins and other melee fighters down.

C) Other pros aren't used to playing against them. It's basically the element of surprise as they don't really know their power spikes and what they really are capable of.

Indeed, and it's nice to see them doing their job.

I always feel a lot satisfied when I see Morde picking the dragon and the following teamfight.

Macro is the big decisions and choices while Micro is small, detailed actions right!?

Microplay is stuff like Csing, warding, orbwalking, trading, etc. basically the mechanics and what's important for the single player.

Macro play is shotcalling, roaming, teleport ganks, etc. Basically focusing on objective play and to maximize one's impact on the map.

Yasuo / Riven / le bl are extremly effective once you are good at them... They also scale of both macro and micro play (Yasuo less macro)

Yet they dont HAVE this stats...

Lcs has to small database especially of mordekaiser

I understand you are a metal head..

But what you are saying is just blatantly wrong

As long as you can control multiple units Morde is autopilot. So if you are a dota player he is autopilot champion Autopilot champions tend to statisticly flap at lcs

Also Mordekaiser success depends more on enemies decisions and lack of knowledge.

I'm not the best lol player but I can say that Morde and Sol works really good with good communication and in Pro play hey tend to communicate alot so maybe thats why they are good in pro play but not solo Q

Morde and Sol can be devastating even in Solo Q if you know how to manage them :3

I just like that what happens is the team going like: "Ok... we need to stomp this, we pick Morde/Aurelion" xD

I think it's more of the learning curve.

Morde only has damage and essentially increasing his health bar in combat. You really have to understand not only the damage you do, but the shields and healing that you also get as a result when it comes to fighting. Morde's W can easily turn a losing fight into a winning fight for him because people really underestimate the power of his heal.

And Aurelion? Jesus christ he can do amazing things. His W is not bad when it comes to raw damage, and it can hit enemies repeatedly. He can roam quite well, and his Q can lead to some massive problems for those who aren't prepared. Problem is, if you don't know what you're doing with him, you're just going to get an enemy who dashes into melee ranged and you end up feeling really powerless.

I'm not much of a high rank player either, but my mindset has always been "just because they're not played does not mean they're bad"

It's just like this. Sneak attack with sol or Morde. You do double the damage if you know what I'm saying.

They don't expect the "Underdog" to push for hours, thru don't expect the Sol to be "he's everywhere! and in Midlane!!!"cough"outplayed "cough"and "WTH is that 3rd q damage at level 2?!!!!" coughmordeistrashcough they don't expect the unexpected.

It's almost like there balanced or something, with people picking them because they play them well and not because they are currently the best numbers wise. 2/136, greats stats right there
