The only way to balance Dark Harvest is to take it out of the game. Change my mind.

I think now after seeing what it was in S8 and now, that this is the only conclusion I can come to. It is being taken in every role (Except Jungle where it was a problem this past season and they gutted it for the role this season). After seeing it on the majority of players since 8.23 was released and even with a hot fix done to it already, it is still needing fixed. I guess my overall question to Rioters is at what stage does something get to where you guys look at something and decide to revert/remove something because it is too difficult to balance? For example at what point did the KogMaw changes get looked at and thought over to the point where the best thing to do was revert? I look forward to hearing your responses!

I mean in your last 10 games an average of one or two players took the rune with a couple games nobody taking it keeping it on average with electrocute taken in those games which is on average with the number of players taking comet.

Old dark harvest was extremely to toxic for the game due to front loaded damage while new dark harvest promotes champion interaction.

It is a scaling electrocute and does its job correctly.

I have yet to play a game that has had dark harvest be the reason someone popped off and in reality it has been a detriment for many people taking it.
