I was just playing a 1v1 with my friend, and he owns veigar. I was playing Varus. He stunned me for so long and right after that, his Q did 600 of my health!! Not only that, but he just solo'ed the dragon at only level 14!! Does he need a nerf?!?!?

His stun is one of the most powerful in game because of its cooldown, delay, and the danger it exposes Veigar to. On top of that, he's dependent on either farming or harrassing during his weak early game to reach his late game.
On top of all that, most champions can solo dragon at level 14 if they have 2 items, and pretty much anyone who is fed or hyperfarmed can.

it takes until MASSIVE late game before viegar can get a kill with Just Q Ult.
Early merc treads is the counter to veigar hands down.
Verxint1 votesI totally forgot about how much Merc Treads can ruin Veigar's day. People with mercs and the tenacity mastery can sometimes just run at him and he can't escape in time. He also can't hit spells on them without dying.

You have a shield, you rush double dorans ring and mercs. Into abyssal scepter and veigar can't even half health you with a full combo. Also anyone with a spell shield. I have gone Noc into Veigar. It's actually cruel.
