Cant play the game after locking the champ

I've been experiencing this error after the last patch. after i locked the champions the loading screen won't appear it stays a black screen for about 2 mins and says "unable to connect to server..." and the when i hit reconnect it does the same but when i cancel i takes me to the client and it only have a button "skip waiting for stats" when i press it it takes me to the normal client and i can create a new game but cant play it says " you are already in a game" need a fix asap this error is annoying as ever. and my ping went high with like another 70 ms. Some times when i restart the client i get into the game but mostly not. thanks in advance
