Potential Xerath Revamp/Rework

So with all the recent revamps/reworks going on with many other champions. I feel Xerath is one of many others to be changed up again due to pretty stale gameplay. Sure he's fun for a couple of times around. But once you've played him enough you notice how bland his entire kit is. Well I've been thinking of his rework for a while now but couldn't get the right example or words to explain it. Until recently a game called "Smite" very similar game to LOL recently released a new God to its roster. Author, his kit is something to be sought after when recreating Xerath's kit as it still keeps his basic abilities that are already there, but adds more of a flow to his kit as well. If you look at the link I posted you'll understand. If you do not feel like following the link and watching the video I'll give a brief idea of what I think Riot can do to improve Xerath's gameplay Basically Xerath is a God of mass energy shooting all kinds of his powers at his opponents, but really that's only 5 different things, if you count his auto attack. Well if they add combo abilities to his kit then it can open up a whole to way to really become a back line artillery. Like if you use "Q" then it would allow you to use alternatives of Q,W,E bringing more variety to his abilities rather than the same dull ones everytime. As well as more flow to him being a being of mass energy and power.

...So did Smite finally run out of actual Gods? Cause King Arthur ain't a God.

Pretty sure it's always been deities and mythological/legendary characters like Hercules (ain't a god), Medusa (ain't a god), Fenrir (ain't a god), Guan Yu (ain't a god).

Can't say for eastern mythological guy buth both Hercules and Medusa have gods' blood in them.

Well, Arthur was yielding a Divine sword forged by gods or some shit like that, he was chosen by the Gods (or by God rather) to look for the grail if I'm not mistaken. Kinda makes him "godly" in some way (quite a stretch I know lol). Guan Yu was a Chinese general back in the days, they built a freaking giant bronze statue for him recently in China.

That's quite different from having gods as direct parents and thus having actual divine blood flowing through your veins.

I was looking for more arguments as to why is Arthur considered "godly", but I couldn't really find any :) https://www.smitegame.com/news/king-arthur-a-closer-look

I still think he has a place among the Hercules, Achilles and others since they're all mortal after all. But, other than his sword and his quest, I couldn't really link Arthur to God (or gods, W/E).

If I'm correct he's being released alongside Merlin. I think the main reason for that is the importance of these two characters in the Celtic world.

But by the time they run out of gods, I think the game will be dead xD

Edit: just disregard what I wrote lol https://www.reddit.com/r/Smite/comments/9yhdnj/arthur_and_merlin_will_be_in_a_new_arthurian/

They added Arthur? Smite really went in the weirdest direction since i last played, around that terrible Loki remodel.
