Network disconnects and its affect on ranked games

Greetings fellow summoners and devs,

I would like to bring to your attention a problem that i have encountered twice this month and i strongly believe it MUST be alternated.

As i mentioned earlier, twice last month i had a brief disconnection of 6 minutes in ranked games.

On the first time, when i returned, not only i did not reach the level of my teammates but i also carried the game and lead us to a win.

On the second game, the team was doing pretty well due to the early ganks i made and we won soon after.

Both of these games counted as defeats in my LP leading not only to fail to gain LP but to lose LP like i was defeat in the game.

And now i say onto you , Should players be awarded for theirs sportmanlike attitude when returns from these short disconnects which i also failed to say that it was the internet providers problem and not mine.

For example, if in the future i find myself in a similar position, should i just give up knowing that i will lose the LP anyway ?

I strongly believe that it is very incorrect and it does not encourage players to be sportmanlike.

I had a discussion with support about the missing LP and they said they cannot help me which i understand.

I would very much like to hear the opinion of devs about this and how you believe affects the game.

My recommendation would be that a system like tribunal which decides about punishing players should be put in place to reward the players that have shown good qualities and were noble.

Otherwise it would simply not be worth it to even try next time to win the game.

This should be a platform for all the players to involve in making the game and the experience better , hence why i decided to create this post.
