This isn't exclusive to league so it shouldn't be that hard to understand... do you like being a fifth wheel to a group of friends? Of whom you have no idea if they're decent people or complete scumbags? And being forced to work with them until the end of the game? No way to leave if they turn out to be a bad group (unless you like getting low priority queue and a bunch of reports on yourself).

the amount of arrogant asshat comments here is unreal...people are concerned regarding a real issue: premades ruining ranked. Where the fuck do you people get off saying shit like "anything below master is low elo" as if to disqualify the concerns of people less skilled than you? NEWSFLASH: plat and up makes up a tiny percentage of the community. You are rejecting the concerns of the VAST majority solely on the basis that they are "low elo". This elitist trash attitude is NOT welcome here. You are not cool because you talk shit about someone else's skills in a video game while hiding behind your keyboard.

Pre-mades are cancer. Some people blow it out of proportion but the real reason why Premades are ruining this game is for one reason: Coordination.

If you go SoloQ and even though you have 2 premade of Duo plus you, or a 4man even. You will ALWAYS be at a Disadvantage unless the premades are equal(5man vs 5man, 4man vs 4man etc). They have voice comms, they will have it in their favor as they can immediately call out things and avoid being killed, they know when to go in instantly, there is no typing, or pinging, all of which are at minimum, 1 second delays, THAT IS A BIG advantage in a fast paced team game like League of Legends.

Example: Vi is ganking top on the SoloQ team, on the other team someone says Vi, ganking top. You don't have to waste mouse clicks or buttons to ping them, and still focus, and the other difference is, ANYONE on that team that notices it, can notify the top laner instantaneously. Switch it around, top laner is solo Q, pre made is vi jungle. The SoloQ team will have to ping the top laner which means wasted buttons/effort because by the time they actually get it out, Vi is in lane thanks to an already Charged Q and is now ulting the top laner and scoring a kill.

There is a premade problem here and when games last only 20min on average because of that and the snowball meta, something needs to be done, and that is why a majority of us want SoloQ back. Playing with friends is fun, but it isn't fun to those of us who play Solo cause our friends are at college, or at work.

Because they don't like having to learn to play against teams who may actually be coordinated.
