Does anyone else feel like it's "easier" to hit Lux's Q with her Steel Legion skin?

This might just be me, but I always use her steel legion skin over her others; even though it's not my favorite, the change to the Q animation makes her "feel" a lot better. I think it's because her normal Q animation has her wave her wand in a horizontal line, so even though the binding flies out from the middle, my eye/mind instinctively follows the wand's full animation so it messes me up a bit. Whereas with steel legion, she just sticks her wand forward and fires it straight and direct. I was just wondering, does anyone feel like this about her skin or similar about any other champion skins?
