Mages are strong all game when adcs can finally fight them they get 2 chances to burst you if they mess up explain it

adcs get two chances too though
Most mages in the game
has close to no mobility to protect themselves, especially a Zed ult. ADC on the other hand has kiting ability & also has access to sustain items.
Mages might as well be zed vs bot lane or jg
Larrgely because supports are not able to do their support job effectively for most of the game. And damage is just so high that stopwatch is the only way available to save yourself in too many cases.
