Hello Summoners,
I wanted to start a discussion about Gragas: Jungle, seems way too strong. Played a match earlier today and had a Gragas that was virtually unstoppable, dealt a massive amount of damage while taking little to none at all. I'm no expert, but this was the game changer in a match-up that we had won early game, but could never manage to pull ahead after he had Cinderhulk and one other tank item alone.

Gragas's strength is tied to a lot of external factors (Cinderhulk, dominant champs in the meta, etc.). I said yes because his winrate has been getting a nice little bump (his Diamond numbers are particularly good) at the same time as his popularity has been greatly increasing. Winrate and popularity are normally anti-correlated, so this is a strong indication that Gragas may be quite good. However, given the long period before this where we almost never saw him, I would really hesitate to give him more than a tiny "keep him in line" nerf. He isn't nearly as dominant (by the numbers, anyway), as Sejuani and Amumu, for example.
In short: My yes means "They should consider nerfing him." It doesn't mean "They should definitely nerf him." The solution might be something else entirely; maybe Cinderhulk is still OP, maybe other junglers need buffs, etc.
ProfDrDeath1 votesThe bump in playrate comes from him seeing play in the LCS, while the bump in winrate as a jungler comes from people as a broad mass realizing that you don't need to build AP on the Grungle - his base damages are high enough for him to do well as a pure tank.
Kingsgrave1 votesGragas is completely fine honestly. He is only popular right now because he has great counter initiation which throws off many tanks and has Max Health damage. He is in many ways a better Maokai Jungle.
IcyPepper1 votesHe might have gotten ahead and become unstoppable...? Snowballing champions tend to do that, and it's not the champion that causes that.
