Getting keys and boxes in alpha client

Hi, I just had S+ and I didnt even get key or box. Can it be because of I use alpha client where isn´t crafting?

Unfortunately, just because you get an S-/S/S+ doesn't mean you get a key fragment or a box. It's 100% random. I've had 3 boxes available for me without the new client and have had 9 S's and not one box has shown up. Not to mention I get 1 key fragment roughly every 12 games.

Edit: I shouldn't say 100% random, it's only available when you get an S- or higher, but you still only have a chance to earn it.

This just isn't true. There is a 100% chance to get a box if you get an S-/S/S+ with a champion you haven't gotten a box with yet, AND you have a box available. The big problem is that you can only get ONE box per Champion per season. So if you already got one with Ahri, there won't be another available until next season.

Keys on the other hand, are totally random on wins.
