Darius' Q blade width hit indicator is misleading

Riot I have a request here (I never forum post so this is pretty major. At least to me and I am sure many other Darius mains)

When Darius got the Q blade width nerf I was pretty upset, but in the end I learned to just deal with it. I however always noticed something odd and annoying. When winding up the Q animation and aiming it to hit the target I noticed that they could be in the center of the Q (Where the blade width and the shaft width meet) and somehow not take the full damage or get stacked. So I recently decided to go into the practice tool and take a look at the Q animation and what I saw genuinely pissed me off. When winding up the Q the hit indicator (that Darius and the enemy team sees) seems normal, but when he actually swings the axe the hit indicator gets smaller by the 50 units it was reduced by. This little thing makes the Q hit indicator very misleading and if the blade width change isn't going to be reverted then at least you guys should fix the wind up indicator so that it matches the swing indicator making it easier for Darius mains like myself to reliably hit our targets instead of thinking it's gonna hit then seeing it not hit and looking like an idiot.

I personally think the blade width should be reverted cause it doesn't make sense for 50 units of a sharp blade to randomly stop being a sharp in that exact spot at that exact moment.

I hope this get attention cause this is very concerning and annoying to know and kind of ruins Darius a little bit. I mean it won't stop him doing what Darius does best, but it's still something that should be fixed.

Darius is in a bad spot now he is immobile and way weaker than other juggernauts unless he gets his 5 stacks up and his Ult is on, other than that he is in a very dangerous situation.

Anyone can Dodge his Q anyone literally playing against him is so cheesy, they gotta give him a respectful game play rework never change his ult tho but His q and W should be better really.

Bad spot compared to who? I don't think there's any other juggernaut being actually played except Garen (who for the most part, is only being playtested to see the extent of the changes to his kit). With a 9.3% playrate and 49.7% winrate he's in a pretty healthy spot and I don't think Darius mains want their champ being reworked again.

I'm pretty sure it's just a meta thing, I would calm your rework jets because he really doesn't need a rework at all.

I wouldn't say Darius is in a bad spot persay. He is actually in a pretty good spot barring this little clarity issue with his Q. If they fix that he'll be just fine as is. Buffs aren't really needed nor is a rework.

Yeah haha, the first comment kind of derailed the discussion. I'm sure a little more clarity on these sorts of bugs will help a lot of champions including Darius.

Lol what?

Darius is about as perfectly balanced as a LOL champion can be. he isn't toxic at all and is clearly countered by CC but if you let him get close to you he utterly shreds you like the brute he is.

You'd be hard pressed to find a better balanced champion. Akali / Twitch / Zed being hyper motile and one shotting squishies is the epitome of no counter play BS. Darius can be countered but also has space-aids level of punishment if you make a mistake against him. Every LOL champion should have his level of balance that forces out the skill in a player because the aforementioned champions just make it rage inducingly random to play against them and are part of the reason people say Elo Hell exists.

If you lose to Darius you messed up. If you lose to those other champions it's because they got fed or scaled up enough that you can't do a single thing to prevent yourself dying over and over against them as they one shot you.

All I said was they should fix his hit indicator so that they match. It's beyond irritating to swing your Q thinking it'll hit them because of the heft indicator and then it doesn't because it loses range mid cast. You're left sitting there looking like an idiot and probably dead cause you miscalculated your Q due to the blade width indicator being misleading. If they were both the same it'd be easier to judge if your Q would hit the target or if they'd get tallywacked by the handle and you'd get murdered. He doesn't need a buff or a nerf cause he is honestly pretty balanced with his huge weakness to CC, but the Q indicator should match so it's not as frustrating. That's all I asked for. Calm down man.
