Got to gold IV this season, now games aren't fun anymore;
supported gold adcs a few times and it just don't feel the same
they are performing worse than silvers
games are ending pre-20 more often because of one tricks griefing due to not getting their desire champ during ChampSelect
junglers dont take dragon nor rift herald still, or they overvalue dragon late game
time to take a break from this game or nah?
You still get the reward skin gold or above, so honestly, the only drive to climb is bragging rights. I usually stop at gold because it's worth little to stress out.
The higher you climb, the less lp you gain, more lp you lose, so it requires a higher win rate. You do get cooler loading screen boarders.
Also, I believe this year is being split into 3 splits. So unless you can get to plat in the next month, I think it resets, correct me if I'm wrong here.
If you like playing, then play. If you don't, then stop. Your rank shouldn't really matter.
