New mastery system rewards suggestion

Good morning!

I know you said that skins will most likely not be part of the mastery system rewards. However, I believe it would be a huge motivation if a "simple skin", like for example Riot Girl Tristana or the Blitzcrank chrome pack red version which is not a super special one but a rather simple alteration, could be the reward for mastering a champion to the last level/tier (once you added the further tiers you were talking about so that you only get it on the highest level which will take quite a while and effort).

Just an idea to increase the motivation and give one possibility of earning a "basic skin" for your favourite champ (and move away from making skins buy-only (only really "basic" ones, as said)...and thus probably giving a massive boost to that system.

All the best for the week!

what they should do is give a suminor icon of the champ that reaches mastery level 5 so you can show them off in lobbys and so people know ahead of time you know what your doing

The problem is not every champion has "basic skins" Zac literally only has one skin, purple Newer champions only have one skin. I would have enjoyed the chromas being for mastery but it is too late for them to reward skins for mastery ranks.

Hm, true that. Maybe it's something to consider in the longer term since there will be new skins at some point and the mastery system is not "done" yet but will be extended...

This is totally unfair to those who paid money for those skins. I agree with the skin reward but to make a whole new skin for each and every champion now called "Mastery skins" only way to unlock this skin is getting to level 5-10. whenever they come out with higher levels in champion points

That would be the perfect way, yeah - and the one that will take the longest. But from the fairness point of view that would be it.

The new mastery system means absolutely nothing except you play that champ a lot. It does not mean you have skill with the champ. It does not mean you win when you play that champ. All it means is you get a shiny title because you put in time on a particular champ over and over. What a Joke....

Am I missing the point of mastery system? Is it suppose to do something? or is it really just shiny badges that mean nothing so average to bad players can feel like they are achieving something?

i guess that is the point
