It's necessary on every ADC, even after the nerfs from a few patches ago, making it useless on every other type of champion, to just do anything because it's the only item you can rush. It's annoying to play against as any bruiser because the single attack you get off makes you so fast that you're basically impossible to catch.

The item just doesn't work in a balanced state. Every ADC that can't rush it is hot garbage, but taking it away will just make ADC impossible to play early to mid game. Just find a solution by making items be actually rushable for ADCs and get rid of it.

It's useless on other champions because it was specifically designed for ADCs. That's like saying Titanic is a failure because only bruisers can use it. ._.

Yes though. Stormrazor was a failure because they made an assassin item and had to continue to nerf and change it so assassins would stop abusing it. Instead of just changing it to an item that rewards continued AAing more than just standing around waiting. They could have even given it a ramping affect like Guinsoos, where the longer an ADC AAs a champion, the stronger the crits it puts out are. This would make it less useless in the late game and make it DPS item.

It contributes too heavily to the early burst of the game too, and I think the item needs to be scrubbed out of existence or reworked completely.

Let me explain why StormR exists: because it was unbalanced that crit adcs were able to buy the most hiperscaling build in the game and not be garbage early, so they force them (with nerfs across the board) to buy a "Big Doran" called StormR to not be useless early by the cost of scaling worse (also IE is way worse than old IE)

They just need to increase the cost to 3000 gold from 2800 and remove the attack speed scaling. Make the wait time a static effect. SR users (Draven/Cait/MF/Jhin) Generally shouldn't be building large amounts of attack speed due to their hit and run nature anyways.

Nah. Remove it completely, ADCs don't need a compensation item. The boards have been complaining about damage non-stop, removing this items and forcing ADCs to scale over a longer time will be a good step in that direction. ADCs don't need a rushable item, they never had one in previous seasons. The only reason they have one this season is that they can't compete without it in this meta amidst all the other damage buffs. Therefore, remove this item, then downscale rushable items for assassins, fighters, and mages as well till things balance back out.

Not like that would ever happen, just my ideal world. Riot is dead set on making matches quicker and easier to get into. That's why changing the minions spawn time, to start matches sooner. It's also why they won't remove items such as stormrazor, or look into damage as they say they will. Because shorter match times and lower damage are conflicting goals. As lowering the damage reduces snowball and chances of getting stronger faster to end, as well as allowing teams to survive more mistakes so matches carry on longer without deaths. As long as Riot intends to make matches shorter, it's pointless to bother suggesting anything to them besides ways of increasing damage and getting items sooner. Considering how Riot has sabotaged their on game for this goal so far, I don't understand why they haven't started raising base ad and ap stats, that's all it would really take and match time average would drop at least 5 mins.

gives too much attack speed for building out of one dagger and having one of the best unique passives in the game. 12 to 35 is insulting

honestly i think adc rushing old IE was better than this. Stormrazor gives so many different stats and the passive works really well for a single item. old ie was just raw ad and some crit if u lucky.
