What you said about lulu could be said about EVERY(almost) character ever.
Except it can't. In fact, a lot of the LoL champions have fairly simple/shallow kits. For example, Garen's gameplay pretty much 100% consists of just running at the enemy. Sometimes you can time Q or E to negate CC, but that's about it.
And besides, it is just your opinion.
Except it's not. How Lulu's kit works is an objective fact. What I think has no bearing upon the mechanics of her Q.
Show some research from a survey or maybe a post from riot talking about how intricate lulu's kit is.
.... Why the hell do you need a survey to tell you how Lulu's kit works?
I for one, does not know any Lulu one tricks, famous players or friends.
http://www.lolking.net/builds/lulu-build/426583/Enorbimus-Diamond-guide#/section4 Here you go. Diamond I player.
Lulu may be intricate as you say, but she has no depth since people does not like(or hate) her as much as lee or riven since they offer a wide range of skill.
You obviously haven't seen people's hate for Lulu top. Also, what does popularity have to do with depth? Are you trying to say that only popular champions can be deep, or that all deep champions are popular?
The more you write the more you sound like a 'noob'. You don't seem to understand Lee's or Riven's kit because you cannot master them or play against them. Let's end this discussion here thank you.
Haha. Way to evade all the questions and then take your ball home with you. You'd make a great politician.
Complexity = Skill floor
Depth = Skill ceiling
A champ who is high in complexity but low is depth is bad. They are hard to learn but leave little room for skill expression once mastered.
A champ who is low in complexity but high in depth is good. They're easy to pick up, but have lots of room for skill expression in a variety of ways.
Here's some additional examples.
Riven is a shallow champion because she does one thing and one thing only. Run at the enemy. None of her skills have any way to be applied differently. Pressing her AoE stun will always have the exact same result.
Meanwhile, you have champions like Lee Sin (gasp), Taliyah, and Brand whos kits can create different outcomes depending on how they're used.
Lee Sin's depth is in his R. It always kicks people away from him so positioning is key. Do you want to kick Sion away from your team and into his own, or do you want to sneak in behind Varus and kick him into the waiting arms of your allies?
Taliyah has her AoE Seismic Shove ability. Does she: Use it to forcibly disengage the incoming WW, try to pull someone closer to herself, or toss them sideways into the bush where her jungler is waiting? Three different outcomes all from one single skill.
And then we have Brand. All three of his basic abilities have an extra effect if the enemy is Ablaze.
Do you want to maximize single target damage via Conflagration-Sear-Pillar, or would you prefer to farm a minion wave via using Sear-Conflagration-Pillar on the canon minion? Perhaps you'd prefer to go for a riskier long range pick instead by going Pillar-Sear-Conflagration against someone hanging back. Three skills that have very different results depending simply on the order in which they are used.
Meanwhile, Riven can...very slightly nudge someone in a direction depending on where she lands her final Q?
