So it turns out that Tencent announced the pre season awards, and with that came victorious maokai. I just wanted to know why choose maokai over many of the other champions played a ton like Gnar/Gp/Cass/Viktor/Rek'Sai etc. I know Riot probably has there reasons but this is a bit questionable and it'd be nice to know why choose Maokai.

They know it to . . . . so why not throw salt on everyone's wounds and not give any more care? They don't care. Maokai needed a skin . . . they decided to pick him for some stupid reason. GP, Karma, Azir, or Jhin should have gotten it.
