Old Nidalee Spears... I miss them.

Am I the only one who thinks the old Nidalee spears were so satisfying... Now the spears are kinda boring and barely do damage unless you have some AP but what's the point in getting AP when bruiser is so much better. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I liked being OP on my fav champ, played her before nerf/rework, and I still play her now... I played her from level 13-30 played 7/10 games to get Bronze 5 with her in ranked, did alright compared to everyone else, most likely because I played Nidalee but that's besides the point. I just miss those 700 damage spears at level 8.. Anyone else. I cri evertim ;_;

I miss AP Nidalee too; I think it's healthier for the game that you can't do 2k spears anymore, but it's still sad that she's pretty weak mid lane now. I played her a bunch when I was leveling up and in ranked too

Mechanically she's still fun to play, I just don't have a spot for her in my current champion pool; I don't like dedicated split pushing

I am only hearing that you liked her for being op and not much else. Yeah that spear may have been fun for you but to everyone else who wasn't Nidalee just felt boring for her and her team. For her team all a Nidalee will do is throw a spear and one hit someone making a lot of fights feel unrewarding, for the opponents it just became a game of dodging the spears of the uncatchable poke mage who would sustain herself through any damage you actually managed to do to her.

Personally I am happy that the old Nid is gone, even though the new one is almost just as toxic with her Garen ult level execute on a 5 second cooldown

I don't know, I just think that the playstyle was more fun, more... Magey? Idk. But it was more fun to me atleast.

Agreed, old nidalee was one of my favorite champs to play and I had zero issues with her kit(frankly I don't have a problem with any champs kit, never have) but I likethe fact that so many people cried op, then she got reworked and those same people are getting destroyed top by ad nid ^^

The problem was that her kit was broken. You can't have a sniper Mage with a huge scaling heal and an instant escape, it just leads to a no risk/high reward situation.

If you want to play sniper champs, do it by all means. Play Xerath, he's got plenty of sniping power. Or Vel'koz who can lay down fire from every angle.

But if you want to do that, be aware that those champions require far more though than old Nidalee-you have to actually position and if you get caught you will actually die more times than not.

So maybe you enjoyed being OP , at which point honestly I have no sympathy for you, but if you enjoyed the poke/snipe Mage playstyle then there are other options for you.
