http://prntscr.com/ltmp5v This is my match history and op gg mmr. Im getting +12/13 lp and loosing 26 or more and i cant understand why. Im diamond 3 and i have climbed all the way from silver and this never happened to me before. Thoughts?
I think there are still some iffy gain/losses due to the ranked changes. Riot said they fixed it but I dont think its quite there yet.
Same. I would win like 16-17lp but lose 22-27lp. Riot is apparently monitoring it.
Back in Season 5 i fell from diamond 3 all the way to plat 5. It gave me 6 per win and - 28 per loss...SOMEHOW i made it back to diamond
There's a glut of players in Diamond 3 and 4, boosted or otherwise, so climbing in that section is very hard.
If you can get through it, your LP gains should rise again when you hit D1.
You're climbing to fast for your MMR to catch up. Keep playing, dodge a promo or two and your MMR is fixed. ^^
MMR does not increase not as fast as your rank if you keep winning. MMR does not decrease as fast as your Rank if you keep loosing.
It's kinda annoying since Rank is just a visual gimmick and you still get matched with those D5 dudes based on your MMR despite beeing visually above that already but.. can't be helped. ^^'
Wait... The same thing is happening to me and Im in Silver 2
Same here, Silver 5 before the patch and earning 17-20 LP, now get 12 on wins and lose 20 on losses.
How long were you in silver?
Its preseason so your mmr doesn't go up as fast as during normal season.
UPDATE: I won some more games and my gain fell to 12 LP..... LMAO

Shrike980012/11/2018, 8:03:20 PMI was D5 prior to the changes last patch, my win-rate over the past 21 games is 19%, and the game feels actually unplayable now. I gain absolute nothing and lose 26+ every single game. Game used to be fun to play but over the years just seems more and more of a hassle and unrewarding system. My current MMR sticks me with people who intentionally feed, afk the game, or just flame everyone for no reason while they themselves play bad. I tried to spread more positivity in my games and tell people good job, and other things when they do well. But positivity simply means nothing in this game it feels. People tilt off of the silliest things and force lose your team the game.
